We are producers of Premium Cretan Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) & ORGANIC EVOO Olive Oil in Crete island Greece. Our motive is to show the consumers our love and respect to the soil and especially the olive tree, its most precious fruit, the olive oil \u2013 the \u201cliquid gold\u201d as it was called by Homer, the great poet of the Antiquity.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The company Mylopotamos Health Foods was founded in 1999 by Mr. Kostas Zacharakis, a graduate of Athens University of Economics and Business, dpt. of Political Science, a native of Mylopotamos area.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

His dream was to establish his own company that will promote and make available worldwide the precious products of Crete. So, he created an innovative olive oil unit in Angeliana, a traditional Cretan village in the area of Mylopotamos, in the prefecture of Rethymno.<\/p>

The size of the factory is 2.000 m2 and the production capability of 2.000 bottles per hour.<\/p>

Our motive is to show the consumers our love and respect to the soil and especially the olive tree, its most precious fruit, the olive oil \u2013 the \u201cliquid gold\u201d as it was called by Homer, the great poet of the Antiquity. Also, due to our long-time experience, we hold a significant position in the olive oil market and the agricultural products market in general, both in Greece and abroad.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\u00a0long periods of sunshine, the few rainfalls, the humidity and the sea salt, generate the ideal climate to produce the best variety of\u00a0olive oil<\/strong>\u00a0in the Mediterranean area, produced by\u00a0Koroneiki<\/strong>\u00a0olive trees.<\/p>

These special features encouraged the European Union, via the regulation 2092\/91, to acknowledge the great value of the variety and to characterize it as olive oil of\u00a0Protected Designation of Origin<\/strong>\u00a0(PDO)<\/a>, in order to distinguish this\u00a0olive oil from the others of the same variety.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
